BREAKING: Special Forces obliterate 33 Boko Haram fighters, lose 2 soldiers in Chikingudu

Chikingudu is a community in Marte Local Government Area of Borno State.
The terrorists were killed after troops, on a clearance mission in Missene, Hausari and Chikungudu villages, engaged them in a gun battle.
Two soldiers died, while seven soldiers sustained varying degrees.
Several high grade weapons and vehicles used by the Boko Haram insurgents were destroyed or recovered.
They include 25 AK-47 rifles, three anti-aircraft guns, three general-purpose machine guns, two automatic grenade launchers (AGL), two gun trucks, among others.
The troops are continuing clearance of the general area and other locations.

Dangote ex-manager, two others jailed for $32,000 insurance fraud

The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) charged them with conspiracy and obtaining money by false pretence.
The trio, in October 2014, conspired to defraud Dangote Industries Limited of the sum of $32,000, according to the EFCC.
They inflated the premium for the renewal of insurance policy cover for a Hawker Aircraft with registration No. 5N-DGN.
The offence is contrary to section 323 of the Criminal Law of Lagos State, No. 11 of 2011.
Akanolu, Aladejobi and Alaba pleaded “not guilty” to the charges.
Babatunde Sonoiki and S. O. Daji, the prosecutors, called witnesses and tendered documents that were admitted in evidence by the court. ....
