An Aberdeen chef who downed six pints before losing control of his car and crashing it into two others has been banned from the road.
Maciej Lewandowski decided to get behind the wheel while more than three times the legal limit because he wanted to get away from his home following an argument with his brother.
In doing so, on August 21, 2020, he crashed into two parked vehicles on Torry’s Balnagask Road and tried to drive off when approached by nearby police officers. ....

A man caused thousands of pounds worth of damage after torching 20 rubbish bins – because he wanted to watch firefighters tackle the blazes.
David Finch deliberately set fire to the bins over the course of just over a month between July and August last year – and he even hit one location on Balnagask Road three times.
The 23-year-old pled guilty to 20 charges of wilful fireraising previously and has now appeared in the dock at Aberdeen Sheriff Court to be sentenced over the matter.

Woman denies breaching Covid rules by allowing patrons inside Aberdeen pub to drink

A woman has denied breaching coronavirus regulations by allowing patrons inside Victoria Bar to drink alcohol in October last year.
Tracy Allison, who is understood to have been a member of staff at the bar at the time, is alleged to have contravened part of The Health Protection (Coronavirus) (Restrictions and Requirements) (Additional Temporary Measures) (Scotland) Regulations 2020.
The 40-year-old, of Balnagask Road, Aberdeen, has now pled not guilty over the allegation in court.
