Baldwin Brothers Inc. manages, owns or operates more than 3 million square feet of commercial and residential real estate in 19 states, but the Erie-based company is still making big investments in its hometown. The most recent involves a well-known chain restaurant on the upper Peach Street commercial corridor in Summit Township. Two companies affiliated with Baldwin Brothers have purchased the Longhorn Steakhouse property at 6750 Peach St. The restaurant will remain open and Baldwin Brothers plans to keep it there, said Jack Munch, senior vice president and director of commercial leasing and development at Baldwin Brothers. The purchase of the Longhorn Steakhouse property was simply an acquisition in the regular course of business, Munch said. ....
