Months after about 293 people were killed in a train accident in Odisha, the Supreme Court today asked the Centre about the safety parameters in the Railways, including the automatic train protection system 'Kavach'.
The unclaimed bodies were kept in the AIIMS Bhubaneswar since the accident occurred in JuneĀ in at least five deep freezer containers procured from the Paradip Port Trust
The Bhubaneswar Municipal Corporation has said that 28 unclaimed bodies lying in superfrozen containers of AIIMS Bhubaneswar would be mass cremated over the next couple of days
Bodies of 23 passengers remain unclaimed and unidentified though three months have elapsed since the tragic triple train disaster near Bahanaga Bazar railway station in Odisha, an official said here on Monday.
