ZAMBOANGA CITY - The city health office has opened 30 vaccination centers, including three mobile inoculation stations, as the National Vaccination Days 4 (NVD4) kicked off here Thursday. City Health Officer Dulce Amor Miravite said they aim to vaccinate 15,413 individuals 4,402 for the second dose and 11,011 for vaccine boosters during the March 10 to 12 immunization drive. "The three mobile vaccination stations will be roving in key areas and establishments in the city," Miravite said. NVD4, also dubbed as "Bayanihan, Bakunahan," forms part of the government's continued drive to vaccinate Filipinos against coronavirus disease 2019 (Covid-19). Ma. Christine Lim, city health education and promotion officer, said Thursday her team has monitored a good turnout during the NVD4 activity, especially for vaccine booster. Dubbed as "Bayanihan, Bakunahan," the NVD4 against the coronavirus disease 2019 (Covid-19) is set to kick off from March 10 to 12. Dr. Dulce Amor Miravite, city health officer, said Wednesday they are targeting to vaccinate 4,402 individuals for their second dose and 11,011 for their booster shots. "Go to the vaccination center to be vaccinated as well as vaccine boosters for added protection against Covid-19," Miravite said. She said vaccination centers will be opened in all villages as well as other designated centers like shopping malls. She noted that all eligible population categories can be vaccinated during the three-day NVD4.
