AUGUSTA – Suzanne (Kiefer) Rosenberg passed away on May 8, 2021, after a courageous battle with cancer. The daughter of Charles and Marion Speth, she was born in Madison, Wis. on Nov. 23, 1946.
She had fond memories of her childhood on Lake Monona in Wisconsin. She graduated from the University of Wisconsin with a BS degree in Social Work.
Suzanne married James Kiefer in 1972 and moved to Pittston, Maine. They had two boys, Ben and Gabe, and enjoyed sailing until James’ death in 1990. As a single mother, Suzanne continued her education and received her Master’s Degree in social Work at the University of New England in 2000. She had a successful career as a Clinical Social Worker in her own practice specializing in families and children and subsequently as a Social ....
