BSF apprehends two smugglers from Garo Hills-Bangladesh border areas

SHILLONG: On February 7, BSF (Border Security Force) troopers deployed at BOP Rithingpara, 28 Bn BSF in South West Garo Hills of Meghalaya detected some suspicious movement of miscreants along the border. On being challenged, the miscreants tried to run away .
The BSF party chased the miscreant and apprehended a Bangladeshi smuggler identified as Md Akram (36 yrs) son of Abdul Gafur Miya, resident of village Hariya Kona under Mati Fata post office in Sherbordi Police Station of Sherpur district, ....
