Introducing Backyard Fest.
Regional Victoria is getting a new music festival called Backyard Fest (BYF). Arriving in Newstead, just outside Castlemaine, from Friday November 12 until Saturday November 13, there’s no irony in the festival’s name, with smaller Backyard Fests taking place as house parties in years gone by.
This is the first public Backyard Fest however, and its lineup packs a punch, boasting a stellar mix of bands and artists from all corners of the music spectrum.
