KATHMANDU, Feb 17: The Special Court has convicted former government employees, middlemen and land buyers in the infamous Lalita Niwas land-grab case that saw the involvement of high-profile politicians as well.
KATHMANDU, Sept 10: In the Lalita Niwas land-grab scam, the Kathmandu District Court has ordered the release of Min Bahadur Gurung along with 15 other defendants on bail on Sunday. Gurung was ordered to be released on a bail of Rs 24.6 million.
Central Investigation Bureau on Sunday arrested the secretary at the Communications Ministry Krishna Bahadur Raut, former head of Samarjung Company Lok Hari Ghimire and survey official Dhruva Prasad Aryal.
