IMPHAL: Union Minister of State for Housing and Urban Affairs, Kaushal Kishore on Wednesday chaired a review meeting of various central schemes taken up in Manipur including the Imphal smart city and PM’s housing for all scheme. The meeting, which was held at the City Convention Centre in Imphal, was attended by state’s Municipal Administration Housing and Urban Development minister Yumnam Khemchand, Commissioner (MAHUD) M Joy and Chief Town Planner (in-charge)N Benju and other officials. Earlier in the morning, Kaushal Kishore also had a discussion on the implementation of the government schemes and projects with the state Chief Minister N Biren Singh at the latter’s secretariat in Imphal. Sharing the photographs of the discussion at CM’s secretariat in Imphal in a tweet, Biren Singh wrote, “It was a pleasure to have Shri @mp kaushal ji Hon’ble Union MoS for Housing & Urban affairs at my official residence.Deliberated on the implementation schemes & project ....
