Killeen City Council expected to vote on redistricting services, drainage improvements Tuesday

Killeen City Council members are expected to vote on an interlocal contract for redistricting services and drainage improvements Tuesday, after several weeks of workshop discussions.
The items will be brought into consideration during a regularly scheduled meeting at 5 p.m. in the City Council Chambers in City Hall.

Bickerstaff would determine if Killeen’s voting districts are unbalanced during an initial assessment. If it is determined the districts need to be redrawn, the law firm will work with the city to determine a redistricting process to redraw the lines so they are in compliance with the law. ....
