Harrisburg police arrest 15-year-old in connection with fatal daytime robbery Updated Jan 26, 2021; Posted Jan 26, 2021 Harrisburg police are at the scene of a shooting Sunday morning in the 300 block of South 13th Street. Facebook Share Harrisburg police on Tuesday arrested a 15-year-old-boy in connection with a daytime fatal robbery in November in Allison Hill. Police had been looking for Azmere Green since shortly after the Nov. 15 shooting of Michael Cox, 57, in a parking lot in the 300 block of South 13th Street. Police were called to the scene at 10:23 a.m. Prosecutors said Green participated in the crime by helping to surround Cox, who then was allegedly shot by co-defendant Keith Moore, 17. ....
Pennsylvania State Senate Approves Of New Bill On Limiting Disaster Declarations (Harrisburg, PA) A proposed constitutional amendment is earning another victory after it was approved by the Pennsylvania State Senate. The state Senate voted in favor of Senate Bill Two yesterday 28-to-20. The proposed bill would limit the amount of time future disaster declarations have as well as needing the general assembly s approval to go into effect. Emergency declarations called for by the Governor currently last up to 90 days, while the new bill would limit it to about 21 days. The bill must be approved by the general assembly in two sessions before it can move onto the ballot for residents to vote on. ....

15-year-old helped rob man who was shot to death in Harrisburg: police Updated Dec 19, 2020; A 15-year-old helped an older teen rob, shoot and kill a 57-year-old Harrisburg man last month in an Allison Hill parking lot, according to court documents. Harrisburg police charged Azmere Green, 15, with second-degree murder for the Nov. 15 death of 57-year-old Michael Cox on the 300 block of South 13th Street. According to an affidavit of probable cause, Green helped 17-year-old Keith Moore corner and rob Cox before the older teen shot him to death in the lot at 301 South 13th Street. Surveillance camera footage near the shooting scene captured much of the events that unfolded near the shooting scene, according to an affidavit of probable cause. ....
