Arizona s seven-day, new-case average again ranked first among all states Sunday after ranking first and second the past two weeks, according to the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention s COVID Data Tracker. 
The state s rate of new positive cases during the past seven days was 4183736001 cases per 100,000 people as of Sunday afternoon, per the CDC. The U.S. average for new cases is 52.6 cases per 100,000 people. The average daily COVID-19 deaths per 100,000 people during the past seven days also ranked first in the nation as of Sunday, CDC data show.  ....
