By City News Service Jun 5, 2021 LOS ANGELES (CNS) - Southland animal rights activists will gather in person once again for Sunday s 11th annual National Animal Rights Day, an event that honors the billions of animals killed by humans every year. This year s gathering will take place at 2 p.m. at Pan Pacific Park in the Beverly Grove area of Los Angeles, which also hosted the 2019 event, and is one of more than 75 NARD events being held around the world. The 2020 event was held virtually due to the coronavirus pandemic. NARD is part rally, part memorial service.
