As competitors gather Saturday for the Ayden Collard Festival’s collard-eating contest, there will an acknowledgment of two men who brought much to the table.
The 49th annual Ayden Collard Festival will run from Sept. 7 through Sept. 9 in downtown Ayden, North Carolina, featuring an art Show, live performances and family activities.
