Print text only Cancel All lanes on Kwinana Freeway have now re-opened following a car fire that caused traffic chaos for Easter holidaymakers returning to Perth after spending the long weekend down south. Key points: All lanes on the freeeway have now re-opened South West tourism operators did a roaring trade over the weekend The car burst into flames just before 3:00pm, temporarily forcing the closure of Kwinana Freeway northbound at South Terrace and bringing the traffic to a standstill. It is not known what caused the blaze but it was extinguished within 30 minutes of being reported. Nobody was injured and the traffic has eased.Loading ....
