The Downingtown West girls lacrosse team started the season with a 20-game unbeaten streak, but the only winning streak they care about now is four. That is the number of victories they will need to earn a state title. The Whippets started in fine fashion as they took control in the second quarter and cruised to a 19-5 victory over Dallastown in a PIAA Class 3A first-round contest on a warm Tuesday afternoon at DiSerafino Stadium.
