Automotive and manufacturing industry representatives from across the Palmetto State will tune into the S.C. Automotive Council’s 10
th Annual Automotive Summit held virtually this year from May 11 to May 13.
The opening day will feature a presentation on “Powertrain Strategies for the Post-ICE Automotive Industry,” hosted by KMPG partner Gary Silberg, a keynote on the micro factory model from Mike Ableson, CEO of Arrival Automotive North America, and a virtual B2B Supplier Matchmaker Event among other activities.
Joey von Nessen, research economist with the Darla Moore School of Business, will also update viewers on the economic impact of the manufacturing industry in South Carolina, including the automotive sectors, with additional keynotes from Gov. Henry McMaster, Commerce Department Secretary Bobby Hitt, Volvo Americas Plant Manager David Stenstrom and Clemson University President James Clements.
