Survivors saying they did not hear any sirens or get warning to let them know they were in danger only realizing it did in many cases when they saw the flames or heard explosions nearby. The state of hawaii does have the largest integrated outdoor all hazard Public Safety Warning System in the world. With about 400 sirens positions across the state to alert people about varias Natural Disasters.
