First lets go to ashland. 6 40 yesterday morning, a woman gets ahold of a cell phone at what is supposed to be one of these two homes. The two homes are supposed to be abandoned. The call comes at 363 covert court and shows she is held against her will. When police get there they rescue the woman and immediately take shawn grate into custody. No incident and was arrested and clearly, he had been ap there was a surprise at the home and thats when he was taken into custody. Everybody is outside the home. Police have to get a search warrant and do it by the book. Once they get the search warrant they go into the home and make the grew some discovery. Two bodies inside the home. The Sheriffs Office has now identified a 17yearold suspect. This is Austin Holzer who its from Grand Junction charged with seconddegree attempted murder. Mesa county da says he could be charged as an adult. He is accused of shooting Deputy Derek Geer on monday and he is expected to be taken organs donated.
