They say it will reopen after that attack by gunmen that left at least 28 people dead including the ten militants. Penang, 26 August 2022 – Firefly, an airline under Malaysia Aviation Group (MAG), has recommenced passenger flights to Phuket (HKT) from Penang (PEN) using its newly refreshed Boeing 737-800 aircraft. Flight FY3600 departed from Penang for Phuket and arrived at 2.20 PM local time with 134 passengers. The airline will operate four times weekly from Penang (PEN) to Phuket (HKT) and vice versa.
