Michael Jordan, spokesman for Alabama Power, said about 93,000 customers statewide are without power. According to the Alabama Law Enforcement Agency, the storms knocked down multiple trees on Interstate 65 near mile marker 197 in Autauga County. Widespread reports of trees down and trees on homes were coming in from Autauga and Elmore counties but as of about 7:30 p.m. authorities were reporting no injuries. Autauga County was under a severe thunderstorm warning when the line rumbled through Prattville about 6 p.m. Eastern Elmore and northern Montgomery counties underwent a tornado warning a few minutes later. ....
