On Saturday, in the morning, at Paddington, Her Excellency the Honourable Dr Jeannette Young PSM and Professor Graeme Nimmo RFD visited Paddington Then and Now Flood Relief Drive and assisted volunteers.

In the afternoon, at Kedron, Her Excellency visited the State Disaster Coordination Centre and was joined by Governor-General of the Commonwealth of Australia His Excellency General the Honourable David Hurley AC DSC (RETD) and Her Excellency Mrs Linda Hurley and received a briefing on the Brisbane flood event and recovery.

Following, in the evening, at Government House, Her Excellency and Professor Nimmo hosted a Dinner for the Governor-General and Mrs Hurley.
