By Gordon Byrd Jan 11, 2021 TAMPA COVID-19 Vaccine rollouts have not been without problems in Florida and elsewhere.. but Tampa Democratic congresswoman Kathy Castor insists things will be different when Joe Biden is sworn in as President next week. Castor told reporters in a Zoom meeting that the Biden transition team intends to release as many doses of COVID-19 vaccine as possible. The Trump administration, she says, had held back half of all supplies of Pfizer and Moderna vaccines for the required second dose. Castor also says the federal government will be directly supporting at least some vaccination sites. Castor deferred on specifics but said the Biden administration is focused. on a detailed and transparent plan and told reporters and the public to stay tuned for more details. ....
