민주당 "대체 휴일제, 광복절부터 시행"…법안 속도

어제 윤호중 원내대표는 오는 8월 15일 광복절부터 적용되도록 입법을 서두르겠다고 밝혔습니다.

현대경제연구원 조사에 의하면, 대체공휴일 확대로 하루 소비 지출이 2조 1천억 원 늘고, 3만 6천여 명의 고용창출 효과가 있다 는 것입니다.
민주당 소속 서영교 행정안전위원장이 지난주 진행한 여론조사를 보면 대체공휴일 도입 찬성이 72.5%로 국민적 공감대도 높은 걸로 나타났습니다.
국회에 발의돼있는 대체공휴일 관련 법안은 모두 8개인데 민주당은 1년에 15일인 모든 공휴일에 적용하자는 입장입니다.
아예 공휴일을 추가하자는 법안도 있습니다.
