Could Jagmeet Singh become Canada's next PM? - New Delhi Times - India's Only International Newspaper

March 1, 2021 Share Is Prime Minister Justin Trudeau living the last of his seven lives? He can wear ‘Blackface’ and get away scot-free; declare his admiration for China’s dictatorship and get re-elected; and embarrass himself on the India file and get away with it all. To top it all, Trudeau’s failure in adequately providing COVID-19 vaccines to Canadians caused murmurs of anger and astonishment that a G7 nation had no capacity or capability to produce any vaccine, but no outrage. Not even when he dipped into an international vaccine-sharing pool to secure doses typically reserved for developing countries. Trudeau’s arrogance and self-righteous attitude generates no negative reaction. It is also reflected in recent poll numbers. On Feb. 19, Ipsos put the federal Liberals at 33%, ahead of the opposition Conservatives under a nondescript Erin O’Toole at 30% and the NDP with 20% support.

No doubt Prime Minister Justin Trudeau is looking forward to what he on Tuesday called “a new chapter” in the Canada-U.S. relationship. Just one small wrench in the plans: Joe Biden will move to kill Keystone XL today.

Bad Habits in Government? Noooooo!

Commentary Habits matter. Good ones can help us by standardizing useful behaviours, but others can hurt by entrenching .
