As I write this column on Sunday I’m looking out at an angry ocean and wind swept rain. Some how Mother Nature seems to have forgotten what season we’re in! I’m grateful that we’re not experiencing the floods of western and northern Maine but I do.
Summer solstice finally arrived this past week although the weather has been anything but summer-like. I do hope that’s not the case for the upcoming Windjammer Days, keeping my fingers crossed. Suddenly the Point has come to life with many.
