These companies have relied on SolarWinds cybersecurity and protection, which had unknowing breaches under its nose for a long time now. The last few weeks have discovered that some hackers and data thieves have already compromised several United States government agencies which were initially seen with the US Treasury and NTIA systems. The hackers used emulators to copy their victims devices and steal millions of dollars from their online bank accounts. IBM Trusteer researchers discovered the new massive fraud operation. The security experts said that the attack s scale was unlike anything they have seen for the past few years. The attackers used around 20 emulators to mimic more than 16,000 smartphones. The devices belonged to mobile bank customers. Security researchers added that cyber criminals were able to spoof more than 8,100 devices using a single emulator. The tech giant company confirmed that it is planning to remove passwords in its systems. The software provider behind the Windows operating system said that it wants to complete its plan in 2021. Microsoft posted a blog post stating it is already working with other partners to make the password less environment possible. According to the blog post, Microsoft confirmed it is releasing a converged registration portal in 2021, together with the new APIs and UX managing FIDO2 security keys, which will enable the users to develop custom tools and solutions. ....
