If memory serves me correctly, my mom kept the three or four letters that she got from me and i read those many times after i came home. Yes, she got them. I got three or four letters from home. My sister wrote to me every three or four days. We didnt get all the mail that was sent to us. I know that for sure because my family members a lot of them wrote letters to me but i didnt get that many. I got a few. You still keep the letter . When did your family and parents know that you are in the camp . As you may know we were carried as mia for a long time. They had no confirmation of my status until about august or september of 51.
