A mass burial of 87 more Kuki-Zo tribals of Manipur, who were killed in the over seven-month-long strife, was carried out with traditional rituals and thousands in attendance in Churachandpur district on Wednesday.
Guwahati: A pall of gloom descended over the hills and the valley of strife-torn Manipur on Friday as family members of the victims performed the last.
It has been over five months since the communal clash erupted in Manipur on May 3, claiming several innocent lives, leaving numerous injured and displaced even as properties were burned and destroyed.
