An 18-year-old man has been charged with attempted murder after the Atlantic City Police Department says one of their officers and his K9 partner were hit by a fleeing stolen vehicle Tuesday night.

A 26-year-old man from Atlantic County was shot dead, and two teenagers were wounded, in a shooting, authorities said.
On Thursday at 2:57 p.m., 9-1-1 calls were received at the Pleasantville Police Department reporting that victims had been shot on the 100 block of Linden Avenue, according to Atlantic County Prosecutor Damon G. Tyner.
Pleasantville police officers foumd Maurice Hampton, also known as Abdul Hamid shot and killed, Tyner said. An autopsy was being performed on Friday.
Two 18 year-old shooting victims who survived were identified as Messiah Burton and Shilameen Henderson, both of Pleasantville. They were taken to AtlantiCare Regional Medical Center City Campus.
