Office. Mr. Langevin its difficult to express in words how difficult their work is. They take care of the least among us. They provide shelter for the working poor and they assist those not working because of age, infirmity or disability. They help keep lives together. They help keep families together. Mr. Speaker, we must continue to provide strong funding for these programs in our appropriations bills. We still have not fully emerged, as you know from the financial crisis and people are still trying to make ends meet. Foster youth are particularly vulnerable with as many as 40 who age out of the system becoming homeless. Social Services Organizations and nonprofits can only do so much on their own. They need support to keep our vulnerable brothers and sisters from falling off a cliff. We can do better and we deserve to support them. I yield back. Stretching into the city of philadelphia. We are live at the crime scene. Matt, tell us what happened. Reporter well, right here on the 600 block of bailey road a woman was found dead. She had been slashed and her throat slashed right there at the neck. It was a blood trail here on the sidewalk though that lead police on quite the journey this morning. The owner of the house called 911 just after 3 00. He had been expecting the woman last night. He went to bed, woke up, looked out his door and saw her lying there. Police started following this blood trail that started here, went over into the city. Detectives found what they described to us as a steak knife that was thrown into a storm drain. It appears to be the murder weapon but the hunt for the suspect has turned up nothing but this blood trail. Wow, thats definitely from the suspect, without a doubt. He left the crime scene and left injuries as a result of this altercation. He was cut somewhere. He was losing blood for more than ha ....
