Lawal said this on the sidelines of a charity cocktail organised by the Foundation in Lagos on Sunday. She said the event was organised to showcase the impacts of the Foundation and seek support for cancer patients. “Individuals can support government through NGO support, volunteering and ensuring they do regular health checks of themselves so that they are able to detect early any ailment before it gets too late. “Individuals can support the government by getting informed, educated, and aware of the disease through some of our awareness programmes and not spreading fake news about treatment,” Lawal said. ....
