The Arakavila Dance and Theatre Foundation’s (ADTF) maiden cinematic venture ‘Awa Dewaduthayek’ (An Angel Arrives) has bagged three key awards at the DRUK International Film Festival, Bhutan in its June competition that had attracted films from various countries.
The film won the first place in the children/family category while bagging awards for the best music score and a special jury award at the festival.
The touching movie carrying a strong social message was produced by Janaki Hill and directed by Samantha Wijesinghe while Athula Edirisinghe created the music scores.
