Went to gehim out to do some sobriety tests and he decided he was leaving. And leaving fast. The chief says the 3 3 to 40 year old man took off doing 60 to 70 on 25 mile per hour residential streets. He decided to take his convertible off road, neararake avevend south evans roadad coming down this little dirt path, and into someones lawn. The car came down this way. It spun around and ended up going backwards, into the water about ten feet. Now, heresshe crazy thing. This is the backyard of a city councilman. G e walkers yard to be exact. Fortunately for gene his home wasnt damaged in any way. The onvertible is another story. U can see it here being pulled out, soaking. The driver bailed once he hit water, swam to shore and was arrested by police. He was taken into and then transnsrted to the hospital
