The universities were harmed, the testing services were harmed, the reputations at least. that s essentially the legal question of what will happen here and others are watching closely. the actress, lori loughlin, for example, facing up to 40 years in prison along with her husband. their case involves half a million dollars in money paid to the university for their two kids phony athletic profiles. so a much bigger case there, like many others. of course, it remains to be seen whether a sentence of jail will embolden others or not. about half of the people who have been charged have taken plea deals, about the other half are going to trial, so a jail sentence here could suggest maybe it is time to strike a deal or maybe it is time to push it further to trial and i won t end up in prison, but it will play out in the many months to come. we expect a decision in about an hour or so. again, she is hoping to stay out of jail. keep us posted, ron. jessica, if she does end up being sentenc ....
