ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) – Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf leader and renowned lawyer Naeem Bukhari was removed by the government from his post as chairman Pakistan Television (PTV), Dunya News reported on Friday.

ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) - The Islamabad High Court (IHC) restrained the Chairman of the Pakistan Television Corporation (PTV), Naeem Bukhari from working, on Thursday.
The IHC, while hearing a petition against the appointment, remarked that no reason was presented for granting relaxation in age requirement and referred the issue back to federal government.
During the hearing, the court asked whether government issued an advertisement for the appointment in the light of Supreme Court of Pakistan.
The court said that the summary was forwarded without going through verdict of the Supreme Court and Ministry of Information made the same mistakes that were made during appointment Ataul Haq Qasmi. ....
