PMâs house gift in âMujib Barso a great delight for landless people 1944 KHULNA, Jan 24, 2021 (BSS) â Ultra Poor and landless people of Khulna got pleasant and expressed satisfaction after getting 3,225 new houses as a gift from Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina in the Mujib Year (Mujib Barso) under the first phase of Asrayan-2 Project in Khulna division. Talking to BSS, a number of âKaâ category beneficiary families of Dumuria upazila in Khulna district who got new houses with land ownership documents yesterday expressed happiness and conveyed heartfelt thanks to the Prime Minister . PM pledges to arrange home for all 953 DHAKA, Jan 23, 2021 (BSS) – Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina today said that her government would arrange shelters for all marking the Mujib Borsho to ensure a standard life for every citizen. “We have set a target in the Mujib Borsho that not a single person will remain without address or home. I will somehow arrange an address for everyone,” she said while distributing homes to 66,189 families alongside rehabilitating 3,715 others in the barracks under the Ashrayan-2 Project. Joining the programme virtually from her official residence Ganabhaban in the capital, the Prime Minister asked all concerned particularly the local administrations to hand over the ownerships of the houses to the beneficiaries. ....

Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina is fulfilling the dreams of Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman as her government provided houses for 66,189 homeless and landless families across the country on Saturday under the Ashrayan-2 Project. The premier inaugurated the house handover ceremony virtually from Ganabhaban in the capital. People from 492 upazilas of the country were connected with the ceremony. She termed the distribution of the houses as the biggest festival of the countrymen in the Mujib Year. “It’s the biggest festival today. There is no such big festival for the countrymen, like giving homes to the landless and homeless people,” she said. ....
