People face multiple issues, demand action Excelsior Correspondent Srinagar, Jan 31: While the Srinagar city has been struggling as the administration failed to clear snow from footpaths in time, same appears to the case with the villages in South Kashmir where the lanes and by-lanes remained covered with snow. The residents of villages from Kulgam, Anantnag, Pulwama and Shopian told Excelsior that they are facing immense hardships due to the failure of the administration in clearing the lanes and other link roads that are connecting these villages with the towns. “The snow has not been cleared from the lanes and the snow that came down from the rooftops of the houses also got accumulated there, therefore, blocking the ways further,” said Arshid Ahmad from Kulgam. ....
