MANATEE COUNTY, Fla. (WWSB) - Manatee County Commissioner Vanessa Baugh will remain as chair of the county commission after an effort to remove her failed in a 3-4 party-line vote Tuesday afternoon.
District 2 Commissioner Reggie Bellamy made the motion to remove Baugh over a firestorm of criticism over her selection of two affluent areas in her district to host last weekâs COVID-19 vaccine pop-up sites.
