Athletics Announces 2023-24 CUADvance Cohort

    CUADvance is a 10-month program, sponsored by Director of Athletics Graham Neff, which fosters opportunities for an annual cohort of employees who are early in their careers. The program features a core curriculum led by athletic partners AMPLOS and other athletics-centric speakers who can enhance employee skills and create opportunities for growth in collegiate athletics through personal development programs, industry exposure, networking opportunities and more. CUADvance is coordinated by Jordy Kirr and Henry Archuleta. The monthly sessions are designed to take two hours each. The sessions rotated locations at different venues across the Athletic District to expose the cohort to our different departmental units. The first hour consisted of the core curriculum led by Dr. Cory Shaffer. Preston Greene Returns to Clemson as Director of Basketball Strength and Conditioning

CLEMSON, S.C.  Clemson University men’s basketball Head Coach Brad Brownell announced the hiring of Preston Greene as the director of basketball strength and conditioning. Greene is one of the most respected thinkers and practitioners in his field and has been instrumental in raising the bar at every stop. Greene, who possesses nearly 30 years of experience, returns to Clemson after working with Florida and Miami (Fla.) men’s basketball over the last 14 seasons. “It’s great to have Preston back in Tigertown. He’s one of the most respected strength coaches in our business,” said Brownell. “This is an extremely important position because of the impact strength coaches have on the development of our players.
