Art Auction enters 21st year supporting Bangladesh kids

Organizers say the auction is growing every year with its efforts benefitting orphans and students in Bangladesh.
The Community-wide event moved online last year because of the pandemic, now shipping art supplies to participants and placing the finished pieces online for sale. The variety of events leading up to-and after the auction, normally brings young, local artists to workshops in the Fall to create those pieces for the benefit.
Organizers call it, Kids helping kids.
The online move does allows for a bigger audience to participate, says Assistant Director Ryan Edwards. It allows out-of-town grandparents and friends to bid on pieces which before, required a stop into the Longbranch Café & Bakery to write those bids down. ....
