Bedford approves contract with Assessing Solutions, Inc. Bedford Township’s Board of Trustees agreed on Tuesday to contract with Michigan-based assessing firm Assessing Solutions, Inc. The board voted 5-1 to enter into a contract with the assessing firm, with trustee Craig Montri the lone ‘no’ vote. Trustee Joe Gore was absent from Tuesday’s meeting. The township will pay Assessing Solutions $10,000 per month through April 30, 2022, with a $300/month raise annually thereafter through the length of the contract, which expires April 30, 2026. In the last year of the agreement, the township will pay Assessing Solutions $11,200 per month. The move comes just two weeks after Anthony Meyaard, president and owner of Assessing Solutions, withdrew his company’s bid for consideration after township supervisor Paul Pirrone indicated he was not in favor of the township partnering with them due to financial concerns. ....
