ISLAMABAD: Pakistan Federal Union of Journalist (PFUJ) has given countrywide protest call tomorrow (Monday) against the adoption of “Punjab Assembly Privilege Bill 2021” to punish journalists and media workers in Punjab, says a press release. Decision was announced by President PFUJ Shahzada Zulfiqar and Secretary General Nasir Zaidi in a statement in which they asked all the UJs across the country to arrange protest gatherings and rallies against brutal piece of law which was adopted with consensus by all the political parties in Punjab Assembly which was tabled by PPP MPA Makhdoom Usman as private members Bill. Apart from protest rallies, black flags would be fluttered at all the press clubs in the country, the statement said. ....
