Military planes have hit taliban fighters on the outskirts of afghanistans Northern City of kunduz, and a nato spokesperson said the strike was to eliminate a threat to Coalition Troops and Afghan Forces. Taliban fighters seized the city after an Early Morning raid on monday, Afghan Special forces are still advancing towards the city despite having been ambushed by the taliban, local hospitals have received 16 dead bodies and treated 172 injured and Afghan Soldiers are set to have retaken the citys main jail and the police headquarters.
