Hotpot Datuk, friend plead guilty to assaulting young couple

PETALING JAYA: Two company directors, including a Datuk who was caught on a viral video assaulting a young couple, have pleaded guilty at a Magistrate s Court here to assaulting and causing public nuisance at a steamboat restaurant in Persiaran Tropicana. Datuk Tan Wai Khan, 42, and Ang Mow Loong, 40, made the plea after the charges were read out before magistrate Nurshahira Abd Salim here on Thursday (Jan 21). The court, however, fixed April 2 for hearing of statement of facts and sentencing.
