NHM Assam Office Timing in Pandemic: National Health Mission, Assam (NHM) has announced that in view of the COVID-19 pandemic situation, the office of the Mission Director, NHM shall remain open and functional all seven days of the week, including any holidays, till the COVID-19 situation is brought under control.
According to an official statement, all employees and staff at State HQ, National Health Mission, Assam including the umbrella programmes shall invariably attend office on all days to render their individual duties to collectively manage and mitigate the COVID-19 pandemic.
The NHM order also said that no leave from the office shall be allowed, except serious medical emergency.
All Business Establishments in Assam to Close by 2 PM Every Day from May 5
All business establishments will have to close down by 2 PM starting Wednesday as a preventive measure to fight COVID.

GUWAHATI: In a decision that might bring back bad memories of COVID phase 1, the Assam government on Tuesday said that all business establishments will have to close down by 2 PM starting Wednesday as a preventive measure to fight COVID.
Meanwhile, the curfew which was earlier imposed at 8 PM every day now has been put on a place at 6 PM every day.
In the revised SOP issued by the state government, it also said that the shops and other business establishments will be closed from 2 PM which was earlier closed from 6 PM.

GUWAHATI: The ASDMA (Assam State Disaster Management Authority) has issued advisories for observance of COVID-appropriate behaviour in respect of the following sectors: Banks/ insurance offices/ ATMs/ other financial institutions; employees/ officers/ support staff in offices providing essential services; workers of factories; hotels and other hospitality units; dine in restaurants/ bars/ banquet halls and other eateries; as well as warehouses and supply chain.
These advisories are intended to streamline and standardize the operating procedures for smooth functioning of the above services duly following all protocols of COVID-19.

GUWAHATI: With the rapid rise in Covid-19 cases in the state of Assam, the state government on Friday extended the ongoing Night curfew till 7 May. The order was issued by the Assam State Disaster Management Authority.
The order states that - Whereas, the Assam State Disaster Management Authority (ASDMA) has vide order No ASDMA 28/2021/18 dated 26-04-2021 issued consolidated and revised guidelines for all districts for containment of COVID-19 pandemic in Assam for a period up to 1 May 2021.
