NHM Assam Office will Remain Open & Functional Whole Week, No Leave Shall be Allowed: Official Order

Guwahati: NHM Assam Office Timing in Pandemic: National Health Mission, Assam (NHM) has announced that in view of the COVID-19 pandemic situation, the office of the Mission Director, NHM shall remain open and functional all seven days of the week, including any holidays, till the COVID-19 situation is brought under control. According to an official statement, all employees and staff at State HQ, National Health Mission, Assam including the umbrella programmes shall invariably attend office on all days to render their individual duties to collectively manage and mitigate the COVID-19 pandemic. The NHM order also said that no leave from the office shall be allowed, except serious medical emergency.

Meanwhile, the curfew which was earlier imposed at 8 PM every day now has been put on a place at 6 PM every day. In the revised SOP issued by the state government, it also said that the shops and other business establishments will be closed from 2 PM which was earlier closed from 6 PM.

The order was issued by the Assam State Disaster Management Authority. The order states that - Whereas, the Assam State Disaster Management Authority (ASDMA) has vide order No ASDMA 28/2021/18 dated 26-04-2021 issued consolidated and revised guidelines for all districts for containment of COVID-19 pandemic in Assam for a period up to 1 May 2021.
