YMCA, Caritas India provide humanitarian assistance to flood-affected families in Assam

Dimapur, Oct. 11 (EMN): As part of humanitarian service to the afflicted people under the Assam Flood Response 2022, the Caritas India in collaboration with Young Men’s Christian Association (YMCA) Madras and YMCA North Eastern Region donated food kits along with financial assistances to the flood affected families of Deramukh under Satgaon Parish, West Karbi Anglong District, Assam on Oct. 8. An update issued on Oct. 11 informed that the flood affected families were given relief materials during a brief function which was held at Deramukh with Dr. Vincent George, President of Madras YMCA and Chairman, Southern Region of YMCAs India as chief guest and Dr. Andrew Ahoto Sema, President of Nagaland YMCA and Vice Chairman of North Eastern Region of YMCA as guest of honour.
