Assam State Co-op Bank donates Rs 10 lakh

Assam State Co-op Bank donates Rs 10 lakh On the appeal of Assam Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma, Assam State Cooperative Apex Bank has donated Rs 10 lakh towards Assam Arogya Nidhi to support the government’s efforts in handling the pandemic. The Cheque was given by the bank’s Chairman In-Charge Biswajit Phukan to Assam Chief Minister Himanta Biswa last week at his office. Later on sharing the news through social media, the official twitter handle of Chief Minister of Assam wrote, “Chairman i/c Assam Co-op Apex Bank @biswajitphukan today called on CM @himantabiswa and contributed Rs 10 lakh to CMRF on behalf of the bank. Thanking him for the generous donation, the CM asserted such contributions would augment the campaign against #Covid19.
