Danny Phillips, who co-owns Krabloonik Dog Sledding with Gina Phillips, maintains he was not aware that a Best Practices Plan would become a part of their lease with the town when Krabloonik’s owners met with town officials and created the plan by mutual agreement in 2015.
The operators of Krabloonik Dog Sledding have “neglected to follow through with the majority of their promises” established in the Best Practices Plan attached to their lease with the Town of Snowmass Village, according to a Feb. 8 report submitted to the town by Krabloonik Best Practices Review Committee member Seth Sachson.
The Pitkin County Sheriff’s Office is awaiting approval from the district attorney’s office on an arrest warrant for a former Krabloonik Dog Sledding musher after an investigation into an allegation of animal cruelty documented on video in late January.
